A Day of Celebration
The circle is a universal symbol for unity and wholeness. The form of meeting in circle is ancient. Each of us has ancestors, no matter what our ethnic or racial background, who sat around a fire together, drumming, singing, playing, dancing, telling stories, praying, grieving together, solving the problems of everyday life. The memory of this connection to the circle is in our bodies, in our psyches. It is time for us to come together in small groups that share the same goal; the creation of a compassionate community that values the wisdom and the welfare of all its members. In the words of Jean Shinoda Bolen, The Millionth Circle, "When a critical number of people change how they think and behave, the culture will also, and a new era begins". During this special day of celebration we will:
The day will begin at 10.00 am and finish at 4.00 pm. Bring a delicious vegetarian lunch to share.
