Uluru Dreaming Retreat Testimonials

If you have begun to feel cluttered by your everyday life – possessions and scurrying around to meet deadlines and responsibilities…if you have become increasingly distracted by modern city life’s trappings – traffic, advertising, the extended reach of concrete tentacles, subservience to a mobile phone, the insidious hum of the power grid, sitting in front of tv’s and pc’s for entertainment…then this retreat offers the opportunity to reconnect with the stillness…to hear the inner call of our true nature.

The Uluru Dreaming Retreat with Suzanne and David has been beautiful and brilliant, at home and at peace in the desert.
The retreat became a family group and the feeling of safety, joy, acceptance, the freedom of respect for personal space and choice, allowed the lessons to be felt from the red earth upwards.
Fun, laughter, wonderful music and inspiring song, delicious wholesome food, wisdom, love, patience and great organization.
The spirit of gentleness, respect and love surrounded our retreat, strength and honesty in the rituals and connections grown with ourselves, each other and Mother Earth.

I found the retreat excellent for developing the mind, body and emotions. The walks around Uluru were spectacular and the food was excellent in variety and taste. The various rituals were very inspiring and the group work very emotionally relaxing and the singing was enjoyable too.
The facilitators, Suzanne and David, were excellent in their ability to make you feel at home and to organise the walks and activities. Ron and Barbara were excellent cooks and organised the trip into the bush.
I was touched by the organisers’ ability to help with some of the challenging aspects of the trips and activities.
All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this retreat for physical, emotional and spiritual improvement.

My wife and I enjoyed this retreat. We particularly enjoyed Mt. Connor and the natural, cultural and spiritual aspects of Mt. Connor (Atilla), Uluru and Kata Tjuta. The stars at Mt. Connor were amazing. Suzanne and David are very loving and caring people and with Barbara and Ron, they took us on an amazing spiritual journey.

I want to thank Suzanne and Oceana for providing me with the opportunity to see Uluru, Atilla and Kata Tjuta in all its glory. No aspect of the week was rushed, and with clear intentions of respect for the indigenous culture and guided meditations from Suzanne and Oceana, this set a tone of reverence and sacredness to our week. For me, I realised how valuable our collective intent, coupled with symbolic rituals, was for releasing my stuck patterns of thoughts and behaviours. In the space of one night (the night of the full moon), my feelings of loss and regret were replaced with song and dance. And still I sing and dance under the stars - I can't stop myself. To be able to combine the journey of the spirit within to the sacred landscape of Aboriginal Australia was a real treat. Thanks again, I would recommend this trip to all adventurous souls.

I have settled back into life in Melbourne with a deeper connection to spirit.  I feel quite altered by my experience in the desert. It is like the experience could be stretched over a lifetime.  I often have beautiful flashes of memories and moments from that place. The ethereal beauty and scooping up red sand with my cupped hands. Speaking to the other under the expanse of the blue sky. The barren hollowed out heart. The full air to breathe. So grateful to you both for allowing me to let go at a young age. Teaching me about gratitude and what stops me from being present in my life. I feel such an internal shift. Like I am flying. I am able to be so grateful for what has been in my life. I trust what is to come. The sadness has gone through me. New pathways have been created for me. Allowing the intensity of all emotion through. I have transformative tools. Allowing myself to go there where I need to trek. So thank you.

Uluru Dreaming is a unique experience of the subtle and powerful energies of ancient land and wisdom that is at the center of our country and our own center. Thank you to Oceana and Suzanne for living the dream and your courage to commence the process of connection with ourselves and the land and the indigenous people. This is a powerful place to be for me at this time in my life, a place of center and knowing and connection as I begin the journey into my 50's - a new period of my life.

I would like to thank Oceana and Suzanne for holding a very sacred space at Uluru Dreaming to allow me to be nourished and supported as I explored a deeper understanding of myself with such professional guidance and genuine loving and caring.
